This public notification is to inform you that the following person is registered with the Nebraska Sex Offender Registry (SOR). This information is being provided to the public to protect members of the public from potential harm. This registry is made available through the Internet with the intent to better assist the public in preventing and protecting against the commission of future criminal sexual acts by convicted sex offenders.

The community law enforcement and county sheriff's office are aware that this person is in the community. The sheriff's office in each county is responsible for tracking sex offenders who are required to register. That information is electronically provided to SOR, reviewed, then entered into the state's SOR database which is a real-time system. The information posted is the information reported by the offender in person at the local sheriff’s office.

The information contained on the public SOR can change quickly. The offenders themselves may fail to provide accurate information. Therefore, the SOR makes no representation, suggests or implies that the information contained on the registry is accurate. Any individual who believes information contained in the SOR is not accurate should contact the local sheriff's office having jurisdiction over where the registry violation is taking place.

The SOR law also does not have legal jurisdiction to prevent an offender from traveling, attending events, limiting employment, being online, restricting an offender from entering any facilities, or refraining from living with or socializing with children or vulnerable persons. Sex offender registry information shall not be used to retaliate against the registrants, their families, or their employers in any way. Vandalism, verbal or written threats of harm are illegal and will result in arrest and prosecution.
